The Tyra Show has really surprised me during my mini vacation. The show has been airing more in depth topics instead of the usual Top Model reunions and make over shows. I came across this episode while surfing the net. The clip shows a young women who wants to confess to her mother and grandmother that she has been stripping.

Well go ahead and watch the clip. Pay close attention to her mother's reaction. It is truly sad when you have no other way to communicate with others except to bring them on national television to discuss issues and disclose secrets(however in this case I do believe it was done in the public forum for the young woman's protection).

Now I (and others) have been in similar situations. College students with bills, financial obligations, jobs and school work. However, resorting to stripping was not an option (at least for me). It seems that her family is supportive. Her mother even made a statement that she is spoiled. So why is she stripping? Peer Pressure? Or the temptation of the Fast Life? We may never know the real reason, but too often people get caught up in the "life"!! Will she stop once she finishes school, like so many have said before her? I hope that she makes the right decision. She needs to use her education and not her body to excel in life.
