The BLIZZARD of 2010!!

Snowtorious B.I.G. and Snowpocalypse are just a few names for the Snow Storm via the people on TWITTER. People in the DMV haven’t seen a storm like this since 2003 and 1996. We all remember the Blizzard of 1996. It was so significant that I actually went out to play in the snow. The last couple of days have been mass hysteria (somewhat). The grocery store shelves were bare and no shovels in sight. My local store didn’t even restock the shelves; they actually stocked the boxes so you could help yourself. We have heard the stories of the long lines in the stores, yet we still had to venture out to grab the necessities. You know the bread, milk, toilet tissue, and other items people say you need to survive through the storm. Can we stay SNOW EMERGENCY? Lets not forget about the people who are still going out for reasons that are not classified as an emergency. If the snowplows are getting stuck, that means that common folk with anything less than 4wd should not be on the roads. Be safe during the storm and shovel with caution.

My survival kit for this weekend includes:

Food
Snacks
Wii Fit
Video Games
DVDs
OnDemand
Trusty Mac Book
Books
Magazines
Vision Board
Blackberry
Online Shopping
Sleeping
Cleaning
Skyping
IPod
ITunes

Lastly, Friends and Family!!

That’s just some of the things that I hope will keep me entertained. I hope you have something or someone to keep you entertained. Everyone will have cabin fever after this weekend. You wont be able to keep me in the house for the next couple of weekends (as if I stayed home before).

P.S. For those that are not in the DMV and say that we are overreacting and it will melt, thanks for the concern. Of course we know it will melt, but we are stuck in it now!! It has paralyzed the area. We see storms like this every few years, yet this year we have been plummeted by the snow. So leave us alone and let us deal/cope with the snow storm our own way. Thanks.
