It's BLACK HISTORY MONTH so we continue to celebrate the many accomplishments of African Americans.
Just wanted to take this moment to SHOUT OUT Mr. SHANI DAVIS of the United States for winning his second GOLD MEDAL in the 1000m Speed Skating event at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Clap for 'em!!! He definitely did his thing today. Mr. Davis made history in 2002 by being the first African American to make an Olympic Speed Skating team.
First Black Olympic Figure Skating Pair
The First Black Olympic Figure Skating Pair made their Olympic debut at the 2010 Winter Olympics. France's Vanessa James and Yannick Bonhuer are the first black duo in Olympic history to compete in Olympic pairs skating. Congrats to the duo for making history!!
